This is a Fun meet JUST FOR SEALS! We will divide the team into 2 groups (blue and gold) to compete against each other! This is good wholesome fun! Alumni are invited to attend also and compete in a race or two at the end.

• Team Set up: This will be provided on Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience.
• Coach Set up: Each team is allowed one 10x10 pop up on the pool deck. Please keep the pool deck clear; only coaches and junior coaches are permitted on the deck due to limited space. Please keep a walkway clear on Sunday for ZOOM photography, it is important for them to have access to the pool, they move quickly in order to ensure great shots. Please do the Skimmers a favor and give them room. If you have any issues please let us know so we can address it right away.

Pool Deck Instructions:

• Designated Walkways: Clearly marked for swimmers from clerk of the course to the 8 and under blocks
• Gate Access: Both gates open for entry and exit; maintain smooth foot traffic
• Viewing: Spectating allowed from the scoreboard side for 9 and older events; clearance during the last 15/18 event.
• Walkway: No family areas allowed on the pool deck, grass area, or behind the blocks
• Photography: No videos or photography from behind the blocks

Swimmer Guidelines:

• Clerk of the Course: All swimmers must pass through; late arrivals scratched responsibility on swimmers/parents/ team shepherds

This is an Open Invitational meet and is open to all Seal swimmers. Invitationals involve several teams. Once a swimmer is registered to swim in an Invitational meet, and the meet entries have been submitted to the hosting team, Coaches cannot make changes to the swimmer’s entries.

Hosted by Antioch Delta Skimmers, this meet is held at a high school with what is known as a "fast pool" and excellent competition. It is a great opportunity for the swimmer to pop their times towards the end of the season. There is no maximum number of events, enter as little or as much as you want to.

Each family is required to work at any invitational meet their child attends, regardless of the swimmer’s age and the family’s volunteer work credit status. Work signups will open prior to the Invitational, or a schedule may be created by the Work Coordinator. If you have a conflict, you may trade work assignments with another family, with their agreement. If you need assistance, contact the Work Coordinator, not the coaches. In the past the Seals have received donations that we have used to sponsor the swimmers fees for invitationals. This varies from year to year and will be communicated when signups open. If you sign up your swimmer for an Invitational meet and your swimmer fails to swim in the meet, your family is still responsible for the cost of the swimmer’s entries (if the meet is not sponsored), including the full cost of any relay event in which they have been entered.

Order of events:
Saturday - IM (ages 7-10), 50 Free (ages 15-18), Fly, Back, Medley Relay
Sunday - Kickboard Race (Minis), IM (ages 11-18), Breast, Free, Free Relay

Price: $16 base fee (includes relays) plus $6 per individual event.

Please note that Time Trials, Invitational meets and Blue and Gold do not count towards the volunteer work credits. We need all families to attend and work Time Trials (introduction/training to swim meets). Also, all families who sign up their swimmer(s) for Invitationals are required to work the meet and will be automatically assigned a job.

Start times: Your warm ups are from 8:15-8:45 a.m. The meet will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. We will utilize fly over starts

Parking: They have ample parking in the lower lot located on Peacock Creek Drive. A sign will direct you to swim meet parking and a golf cart will shuttle you to the pool. Swimmers and equipment (chairs, etc.) may be dropped off at the pool prior to parking. Elevator Access: Our pool is located at the bottom of a flight of stairs. There is also an elevator in the main building. 

Deck Space: Deck and lawn space is very limited. You are welcome to set up on the left half of the grass, pool deck or on the concrete breezeway above the pool. It is very important that all parents and team members respect the pathways and deck areas roped and/or taped off. Please do not begin set up before 7:30 a.m.If you opt to set up on the pool deck, please be aware that there is no setup on the pool deck until after 7:45 a.m.

8 & Unders: Your staging area for 8U is behind the iron fence located at the entrance to the pool. Timers do not move during the meet. They will dive from low blocks on the turn end of the pool. 

Food/Beverage: We will have food and a cash bar available at the outdoor window and grill. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
