2026 Practice times

Spring Practice times - Starts April 13th 

Practice is Monday through Friday

*Groups will be assigned by the coaches based on capacity and skill level and your swimmer may be asked to attend a different practice at any point during the season. Group and Lane assignments will be emailed*  

The coaches are expecting all swimmers to participate in Dryland, the 1st 15 minutes of practice for team building, take attendance, stretch and warm-up before swimming. 

Time Practice Group Age Group
3:45- 4:45 pm Group 1 13 and up
4:30- 5:30 pm Group 2 11 and up
5:15- 6:00 pm Group 3 6 years old & under
5:45- 6:30 pm Group 4 7/8 years old 
6:15- 7:00 pm Group 5 7/8 and 9/10*
6:45-7:45 pm Group 6 9/10 only

**Group 5 9/10's are invited to stay until 7:15 for turn clinic in the diving well.*

Seal Pups practice time is from 6:00- 6:30 pm on Tues, Wed, and Thursdays

This is to ensure your swimmer is getting the level of coaching required to progress throughout the season and disperse the number of swimmers throughout our practices as we are at high capacity. 


Summer Practice times pending (Group and Lane assignments will be emailed once summer schedule is finalized) *Groups will be assigned by the coaches based on capacity and skill level and your swimmer may be asked to attend a different practice at any point during the season. 

Starts June 15th  

Practice is Monday through Friday

The coaches are expecting all swimmers to participate in Dryland, the 1st 15 minutes of practice for team building, attendance, warm-ups and stretching before swimming. 

Morning Practice Age Group
6:45 - 9:00am 13 and up  *Please note: This is the only practice for 13 and up*

11 and up 

 9/10 *Swimmers must be able to swim without assistance as no junior coaches will be present* 
Afternoon Practice
4:00 - 5:30pm 11 - 12 years old 
5:15 - 6:00pm 6 years old & under
5:45 - 6:45pm 7-8 years old
6:30 - 7:45pm 9-10 years old

*In an effort to provide more options for our swimmers and to accommodate a record number of Seals, we are adusting practice times. As we expect the evening practice to be crowded, we encourage families to attend the morning practice as their schedule allows.  YOUR SWIMMER IS EXPECTED TO ATTEND ONLY ONE PRACTICE* 

We understand some kids participate in other sports or go on vacation. It is ok to miss a few practices. Just know consistency in the pool helps with improved technique and times. If you miss any practices, those practices will not be prorated.


What to bring to practice?

1. Wear swimwear and not street clothes.  Rash guards are fine. Team suit orders will start [Date to be announced].

2. Bring a towel, goggles, sunblock, swim cap (highly recommended)

3. No floating devices.  We will have kick boards and buoys for use during practice.

4. Warm jacket before and after practice.

5. A willingness to learn and have a positive attitude.

6. Have fun!
