Spring practice schedule
Please see the Spring practice schedule on the schedule page:
Welcome to the Pinole Seals Swim Club page!
The board is hard at work planning our 2023 season and we have a few updates!
This year Hayley Samuelsz will be returning to the Seals after a several year hiatus as our head coach in charge of the older groups. Coach Millie will be back as head coach in charge of the younger groups and coach Matt will be assisting. Other coaches include Mark Shalz, Jack Benuelos, Alex Ziem, and two new coaches, Laura Feeney and Serena Horn. We are working to put together a schedule that will have more than one coach on deck for each practice. You can learn more about the coaches here: https://pinoleseals.
Check out the calendar on the website to see our schedule of meets. We are attempting to set up one more initial dual meet right before the regular season starts (likely June 10) to serve as our time trials, more to come on that.
The computer team is very excited because we were able to purchase a new timing system! This is going to allow for meet schedules and times to be in an app in real time! It will show the meet schedule and also what event is happening now and provide alarms for swimmers upcoming events.
We plan on having a webinar in the next couple weeks for families who are new to learn about the team and how it operates and what to expect at a swim meet. It will be a recording that we will post after, so even if you are not able to "attend" the live event you can still take advantage of the information.
Please remind your fellow swimmers and families to sign up again this year so we can get accurate numbers for the season.
Spring practices are set to begin the evening of Apr 10.
Looking forward to another great season!
Go Seals!
