Approximate Meet Timeline
Warm Up Schedule Warm-Ups will be in lanes 1 through 14 for 20 minutes. Lanes 13 and 14 will be available as warm up/cool down lanes throughout the meet for swimmers 11 and up, and only for lap swimming.
Meet Entries Select your swimmer's preferred events and feel free to leave a note for the coaches. The coaching staff will review all entries and may adjust event selections based on each swimmer's strengths and the overall team lineup. While swimmer preferences will be taken into consideration, the coaches have the final say on all entries. Programs The meet program is available for download here. Team Camps & Spectator Routes Map Team camps will be tight this year. Early meet set up is not allowed on Friday evening. Our team camp is next to Clerk of the Course, to the right. We will have less space than the AHI dual meet, so please plan to share pop-ups and sit very close together. Please be mindful of space, prepare to squeeze in and share. DO NOT BLOCK fire lanes, teams are strictly prohibited from setting up in the fire lanes we had this issue in 2025. No open flames including firepits. For the safety of swimmers and spectators leave the bikes and scooters at home. There is a map attached of camp locations Spectators will only be allowed to transit around the outside of the pool. Unfortunately, the High School pool deck is not big enough to allow for people to transit from the camps to the bleacher area via the back gate. The appropriate routes are on the map. Also, we will be strict - the only people being behind the blocks are upcoming swimmers, timers, and clerk of course personnel. Volunteers will be assigned as Deck Marshals to enforce the appropriate routes. Please help us keep the meet moving smoothly and follow the guidelines. Rules and Technical Reminders: As per USA swimming, there will be no photography or videoing from behind the blocks. This is for the safety of our swimmers. No Pets Please notify one of the meet directors if one of your team members brings a service dog. This is to prevent misunderstandings. Clerk of the Course (Pinole Seals is running it): Clerk of the Course Parents, please write this on your swimmers. Swimmers must check in for their swim about 15-20 minutes before their event at Clerk of the Course. This means you must be aware of who is currently swimming so you can get your swimmer to Clerk at the appropriate time. In order for the clerk of course to work properly, swimmers should follow the directions of the volunteers and parents should too. Once your swimmer is in the clerk of course line, if they leave, they will not be permitted to swim their event. Be sure they show up to the clerk of course ready to swim, cap, goggles, towel etc. The volunteers at Clerk will then guide your swimmer into rows of chairs and have them sit, in order, with their heat, until it is their turn to swim. Parents are not allowed past the check-in table at Clerk of the Course. When it is their turn to swim, the volunteers will guide the swimmers onto the pool deck and get them to the appropriate lane to swim their event. Volunteer Assignments ALL FAMILIES must work a job. You must check in for your volunteer job with Min Kang once you arrive at camp. All no shows will have $100 billed to the credit card on file. The volunteer check-in area will be towards the front of camp. The jobs have been assigned in Swimtopia. Please check and know your job. Thank you to the families that are working an extra job!! Timers: Please stand and move to the edge of the pool to clearly observe your swimmer touch the wall at the finish. Our swimmers have worked incredibly hard all season to achieve their best times, and every fraction of a second counts. Thank you for helping ensure every swim is timed as accurately as possible. Time Drops Results
Breakfast potluck: Breakfast Potluck Sign-up Let's celebrate our final meet of the season with a team breakfast! We're inviting all Pinole Seals families to contribute to our TCSL Meet potluck. Together, we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast, cheer on our swimmers, and celebrate a fantastic season. Thank you for helping make our championship meet extra special! Please sign up for the potluck if you can help contribute. The table will be set up around 7am so feel free to add your items when you arrive. First Aid: There will be basic first aid services from a healthcare provider available. As well as the capacity to activate emergency services. See the map for location. Food: There will be a variety of food trucks present T-shirts: Shirts/Sweatshirts will be available for purchase Our team participates in the Tri Counties Swim League (TCSL) Championship. This meet is referred to as TCSL or League Meet or Championship Meet. This is an invitational meet. This is the Seals’ most important meet of the season, because it determines our League ranking. During this event, our swimmers compete against all the teams in our league. All swimmers, regardless of their age or ability, are expected to participate in this League-wide meet. The team pays all entry fees for your swimmer. If you do not intend to attend League Meet, you must inform the head coach via e-mail two (2) weeks before the first day of League meet. If your child is a “no show” after entries are submitted, you may be responsible for all your swimmer’s fees including any relay that may be scratched due to your swimmers absence. During the season we will swim against each team in the League in dual meets. All League teams will participate in the League Championship Meet at the end of the swim season. The following teams are part of the Tri Counties Swim League:
Please note that Time Trials, Invitational meets and Blue and Gold do not count towards the volunteer work credits. We need all families to attend and work Time Trials (introduction/training to swim meets). Also, all families who sign up their swimmer(s) for Invitationals are required to work the meet and will be automatically assigned a job. |
